Tough, but honest: 16g dynamic testing

The SkyKids® child seat has been tested rigorously; since safety is the first commandment in our industry. The TUEV Rheinland Berlin Brandenburg, specialized in aviation engineering, performed a whole series of crash tests with the seat. We put our child seat through the 16g dynamic test according to emergency landing conditions requirements – in the same way passenger aircraft seats for adults are tested.

We went far beyond the mandatory tests requirements by simulating a range of aircraft cabin positions in various rows of seats. This allowed us to precisely determine the necessary safety space for children.
